These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of services by Book Your Maid ("Company") to its clients ("Clients"). By engaging the services of Book Your Maid, Clients agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

  • Scope of Services : Book Your Maid, operating in Mumbai, offers a wide range of placement consultancy services of Jhadu Pocha, Nanny, Nurse, Housekeeping, Maid, Elder Care, Chef, Security Guard, Babysitter, Patient Care, Baby Massage, Delivery Boy, Cook, Japa Maid, Driver, and Office Boy.
  • Service Fee : Clients are required to pay a service fee of one month's salary plus 18% GST upon registration, which is payable for a period of one year. This fee does not include the employee's salary and is solely for services. The fee is split with 50% due at registration and the remaining 50% upon finalization of the candidate. Clients have the option of paying 100% upfront. The service fee is non-refundable after availing services from Book Your Maid.
  • Maintenance Fee : The maintenance charge will be paid in advance of each month which consists of employee's salary, will be payable monthly and covers all ongoing administrative and maintenance costs associated with the ongoing provision of employee services, including document verification, replacement services, and customer support. Failure to pay the maintenance charge may lead to the termination of the contract.
  • Contract Duration and Renewal : Client contracts are valid for one year from the registration date, during which up to four replacements are allowed. If a client wishes to retain a candidate beyond one year, contract renewal is required as per company policy.
  • Documentation Handling : Book Your Maid handles the documentation process for candidates, but Clients are advised to verify all documents and references provided.
  • Insurance and Liability : Clients are responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage for candidates while employed. Book Your Maid shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries incurred during employment.
  • Limitations of Responsibility : While Book Your Maid endeavours to employ trustworthy and reliable individuals as employees, it shall not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from theft, misplacement, or disappearance of the Client's belongings or property during the provision of employee services. Additionally, Book Your Maid shall not be liable for instances of sexual harassment or misconduct perpetrated by the assigned employee. While Book Your Maid takes measures to ensure the reliability and trustworthiness of its employees, it cannot guarantee the actions or behaviour of individuals outside the scope of their employment duties. In the event of any such incidents, the Client agrees to address the matter directly with the appropriate authorities and indemnify Book Your Maid against any resulting claims or damages.
  • Property Protection : Clients are encouraged to secure any valuable items or sensitive information prior to the commencement of employee services. In the event of any suspicion of theft or loss, the Client shall notify Book Your Maid immediately, and Book Your Maid shall cooperate fully with any investigation conducted by law enforcement authorities.
  • Safety and Inspection : Clients are advised to inspect the candidate's belongings upon arrival and departure. Replacement requests are only accepted after the candidate has left employment, and pending salary issues with the current or previous candidate must be resolved before processing a replacement request.
  • Cancellation Policy : If a client chooses to cancel the contract during the term, the registration amount is non-refundable. However, if the company fails to arrange any candidate, 100% of the service fees will be refunded within 15 banking days.
  • Responsibility and Misconduct : Book Your Maid shall not be held responsible for any misconduct or any transactions made at the client's risk.
  • Responsibility Limitation for Tasks Outside Scope : Book Your Maid shall not be held responsible for tasks outside the scope of employee services.
  • Client Communication : Clients have the opportunity to communicate with the candidate through phone or video call before finalizing the hiring process.
  • Additional Interview Fee : Clients requiring interviews on non-standard days or at unconventional times will be subject to an additional fee of Rs. 500/- per visit.
  • Termination : Either party may terminate the contract with a specified notice period. Clients must settle any outstanding payments for services rendered up to the termination date (If any).
  • Modification of Terms : Book Your Maid reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
  • Documentation and Confidentiality : Upon full payment of the service fee, clients receive an invoice and candidate documents. The terms and conditions of the agreement are confidential and should not be shared with third parties.
  • Client Obligations : Clients must inform Book Your Maid upon hiring a candidate and thoroughly check the candidate's work before hiring. It is the client's responsibility to conduct any necessary medical examinations of the candidate.
  • Grievance : Mr. Yash Sharma is designated as the Grievance Officer at Book Your Maid. In the event that any issue remains unresolved, clients are encouraged to contact Mr. Yash Sharma via email at grievance@bookyourmaid.com for further assistance.
  • Arbitration : Any dispute arising from these terms and conditions shall be referred to a sole arbitrator, appointed mutually by the parties, with arbitration conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
